Cheney's Little Lie
Gotta love the Vice President. In his big moment in the debate, this is what he had to throw at Senator Edwards:
"Now, in my capacity as vice president, I am the president of the Senate, the presiding officer. I'm up in the Senate most Tuesdays when they're in session. The first time I ever met you was when you walked on the stage tonight"
A funny thing happened on the way to the debate. It turns out there are photos of the Vice President and Senator Edwards sitting next to each other at a prayer breakfast! Never met him, huh?
It makes me wonder, if the Vice President can't get a little detail like that right, and he has the temerity to blatantly lie about an event that is part of the public, photographic record, what is he hiding about Iraq, Halliburton, and who knows what else?
